As the Director of Web Communication at UVa's McIntire School of Commerce it's my job to provide leadership and direction for the School’s website, blogs, microsites, web applications and social media. I am the creative, content and technology for all of McIntire’s public websites. I also lead major communication initiatives and collaborate with departments to achieve their digital marketing/communication goals.

Before the University of Virginia, I was Associate Director for Creative Services at William & Mary. I directed team of professional designers, photographers and project managers that accomplished a wide variety of award-winning creative and technical projects. I served as a member of the Creative Services management team and played central role in large-scale reorganization that created a modern communication unit for the university. My last endeavor at William & Mary was chairing the design sub-committee of the university's visual identity project.

I've been building websites on a freelance basis for more than fifteen years. I work with clients to conceive, design and implement custom sites based on industry-standard content management systems (such as WordPress and Drupal). My clients include educational institutions, restaurants, consulting firms, non-profits, a jazz guitarist, a state senator, and a wine importer.

When I’m not working I enjoy spending time outside—particularly camping at the beach or hiking through the mountains of Virginia. I’ve never met a National Park I didn't like—one day I hope to visit all 59.
